The Knights: The Knights (a.k.a. King Richard and the Knights) had their beginnings in 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico (U.S.A.) during a time when instrumental rock ruled the nation with The Ventures and The Fireballs leading the way. Thus, the band (or combo as they were called back then) became a Ventures/Fireballs clone playing 40 to 50 instrumental guitar songs per gig with no vocals other than a Chuck Berry tune here and there to break the monotony. By 1964, the band finally developed an identity and released "Precision" on a little label called Red Feather Records. This guitar instrumental with a classical piano accompaniment became a regional hit (chiefly due to the unique combination of these two musical styles) and set the record for the most time at number one for a local release on the then ruling Albuquerque, New Mexico AM rock station, KQEO.

THE ELIMINATORS have lead the way in the resurgence of instrumental surf music that was popular during the early 60's by staying true to the sound while giving the music and their show a 21st century. Their fast rising popularity is due to their incredible live performances and their T.V and radio sound waves. You know them their sounds from the Bud-Light "Left coast right beer" commercials, guest appearances on "Beverly Hills 90210, bumper music and record review on 95.5 KLOS "Mark and Brian" show, a guest band appearance on the popular talk show "The View" and supplying music for the hit T.V drama "Providence". THE ELIMINATORS have had great national exposure by performing on a 25 city tour sponsored by Bud-Light and opening for superstar Jimmy Buffett on the west coast leg of his 1997 tour.
