I hope his back gets better quickly. Me too. I picked up the Bel Airs Origins of Surf Music and have been listening to it all week. Is it too late to give 3 cheers to Eddie? Hip hip hooray! We were able to have one rehearsal with Eddie at Kyles parents house on Thursday night and it was very clear from the start that the man was hurting... and it only got worse as the evening progressed. What a GREAT way to end the weekend. The Sunday pier show. What a perfect place to listen to surf music. Keeping the Purple Orchid in the loop, if possible. I like that place! People need to NOT fly out on Sunday night!!!!!!!! Grrrrrr. Maybe a Friday morning get together? Surf museum, maybe the Fender museum (if it's worth the drive). MORE SG101 members!!!!!! Come on, people!!!! It's only 51 weeks away!!!! Start saving now. I'm brainstorming on the sign-in board and the nametags. We can make this work. Wakeup calls from Lady Reverb for all of us out-of-towners so we don't miss our %^*($#&$#% flights!!!!!!! The return of The Surge! (actually, you could just do this lineup again. I got to the airport and my flight was messed up and the re did my flight and it was late and moved to another unmarked gate. what a hassle! I could have watched the Duotones instead of sitting in the airport for an extra 4 hours! It was great meeting you! Thanks Guy Top
