On a side note, and without getting political, how are things in Iceland? We hear dire reports about the collapse of your economy and it's effect on the people.

Things are not looking to good.
Many people have lost their jobs, me included.
But we try to make the best out of the situation.
We are only broke on money:)

I am bassplayer and being tired of looking for bandmembers I just decided to go on alone. I have some ideas, I suck on guitar, but I will try to put my ideas into songs and record them by myself.

Allright!

12 tracks - all originals - are recorded, mixed and mastered.

I've upgraded the songs on my myspace to post-mastered vertions,
and are currently looking for a way to get my material released on CD.

I was thinking of giving the album the title "Savage Iceland",
as a homage to The Bomboras, who got me into surf in the first place.
Also I'm a sucker for bad jokes and cheap puns

i dig that all the one-man-band surf dudes can rally together and support the one-man-band surf scene...

we should start our own forum someday, and ditch all these multi-man-surf-band losers

(of course I am being facetious...you multi-man-ers are okay...even though it takes you 3-5 people to get your surf vibe flowing...)

That's right! I played guitar and organ with the Mobsmen before moving to Iceland in 2006. Naturally they added another guitar player in my absence, so when the financial crises forced me to move back to Norway I re-joined on keyboards (mainly Farfisa organ and Wurlitzer electronic piano).
