i'd rather have people tell me that my song sucks, than have them lie and say its an amazing song. i'll tell u right now dude, song sucked. and its my Honest opinion. im sure u can work on somethin better.

It sounds like a good start to a standard lo-fi surfy tune. I like the organ tone, Pretty amazing from a guitar.

you have something on your myspace that says:

"If you can't tell me the truth, keep your FUCKING MOUTH SHUT!!"

Well, BTD says it how he feels. So when he likes something you really know he likes something.

If you like it, keep going and develop your own voice. Taste is subjective.

There are a lot of different takes on our ever-broadening genre.

I wouldn't ever tell someone their music sucked. That's a totally subjective statement, and isn't very constructive. Besides, I feel that music is a very personal thing, and telling another musician that their music sucks is much like telling them their mother is a whore. Also, it's a good way to scare people away from a forum.

As I've said 3 or 4 times now, it was recorded on a cheap mic through free software with a practice amp. It's not something I worked on for weeks writing or whatever. I was trying out the software and fooling around with my new pedal. I thought it sounded sort of cool, so I shared it. I didn't ask for a bunch of internet dudes to criticize me.

I do play in a REAL band with other musicians, and we've played a couple hundred live gigs, even opening for several major Country acts. I shouldn't have to defend my musicianship or my music to people who don't even know me.

I also don't appreciate being dogpiled and personally insulted.
