I know, I know it's not a surf video but I was surprised to see Johnny's guitarist sporting a Jaguar in "Ring of fire" Arrow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRlj5vjp3Ko

Thanks SJ - I loved it. Thumbs Up

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

We had "Ring of Fire" as one of the country tune snippets we included when the X-Rays played what we so lovingly refered to as the "Trailer Park Surf Suite." It was a really cool, hokey medley which also included Thunder Road, Rocky Top, Stand by Your Man, San Antonio Rose, Wildwood Flower, and several others. Each snippet was in a progressively higher key......a real challenge for a bunch of spuds..............

In the early days Luther Perkins was often seen playing a Jazzmaster and don't forget Joe Maphis playing a Jaguar as well............

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?
