Assuming iTunes will ever list the podcast in its directory again, it would be cool to have artwork for our podcast. A couple of people have asked what we need for this. Well, it is just a 600x600 pixel graphic, so make whatever you want. Think of it as a CD cover or something. Having "SurfGuitar101.com" and "Podcast" in there somewhere would be good. 
Two people have already sent some stuff in and I thank them profusely  : Tom Neptune and Jamie (MadScientist). But we can always use more, and maybe we'll rotate the graphics for each episode or something.

So far, I kinda' like #3 and #4. Possibly more #4 because it still looks good when it's really small.
Some things to consider:

(as mentioned above) What does it look like as an avatar-sized thumbnail? That's about what I can see on my iPod 2nd Gen Nano. Of course it can be bigger for the iTunes store blurb or for mp3 players with larger displays, but it would be nice it it didn't depend totally on fine detail to look good.

Do you really need the word "Podcast" on it? If you're browsing for podcasts or listening to one, then that pretty much gives it away. It also leaves more real estate for the "SurfGuitar 101" text.

I like 4 & 5. I think 4 would look better with an LSJ DiPinto, but I'm weird like that!!!!!
