I just picked up Brian Setzer's Instru-MENTAL! album. For those who are already fans, outside of the lack of vocals, you really aren't going to get anything you are not already familiar with. Brian's style speaks for itself. You either love it or you don't. I consider myself a fan and as long as it isn't a return to his first two solo records from the 80's, I will pick up anything he does. 11 instrumental tracks from the master of rockabilly guitar. Most are new instrumental arrangements of songs we are all familiar with him playing. I absolutely love Go-Go Godzilla and all of it's simplistic glory.

That Howling Guitar album is killer. Picked up the new Secret Samurai CD and a few 7"s: —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

I recently got Deke Dickerson's "Live At Duff's" CD - it's a great overview of everything he's done since disbanding the Untamed Youth. Great music (including some instrumentals), very good sound quality for a live recording and great entertainment all-round. —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |

Terry & the Blue Jeans' Beat Beat Beat Vol. 2 - Pretty decent. It's got a handful of great songs and a couple of not-so-great ones.
Bruce Johnston's Surfing Around the World - "Jersey Channel Islands Pt. 7" - 'nuff said. —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |
