This show is going to big a giant step for the starving surf fans in Cincy. The Rockin and Surfin Show has been on every Saturday night for over 26 years but live surf music shows are few and far between. We're lucky to get in the show and honored to be part of it. Mid West Surf Guy invited me to sit in on the radio broadcast last night...my first time on radio...I had a great time..... Thanks MWSG!! Were hoping for a packed house..... but who knows! There's going to be a projection screen for surf movies ...some stage effects...and I'm looking to hold Go-Go Girl auditions all week!! I hope some of you can make it. —http://www.reverbnation.com/theampfibians |

Hello, The show was great! All of the bands did a fantastic job! It was an amazing show of talent! There were so many people in there that you could hardly get around. The people stayed until the end, hardly anyone left early. As a matter of fact they bar was trying to get folks out of there about 1:30, but they just stayed on after the show. I think everyone had a great time. Roger you and the Wraybands were amazing! The night was capped off with folks from AmpFibians, Maladroits, Roger & others sharing the stage and doing a surf Jam of songs! It was awesome! |

Thanks BTD, Things went really well. Don Schott from Don't Fear The Reverb had all kinds of great planning for the stage and stuff. Cool tiki stuff! I think congratulations should go to all of the bands. But most of all to Rockin' Robert! |

Not only did it go off without a hitch, it was just plain awesome. Atlanta's No.1 surf fan Bill Raser and old dude Eddie Katcher made the short 8 hour trek in Wild Bill's convert with the top down (sounds like an X-Rays/Surge original tune eh?) We did twenty one hours of surf music both in the car and at the show. All the groups were great and the crowd ( and there WAS a crowd) was awesome. Many Kudos to MWSG and all the others that put this great event together. Many thanks to Rockin' Robert. His arrival in a 427 Cobra with the tires smokin' just set the whole evening in motion. I have some pix but they currently are in Colorado with Eddie's better half. She has promised NOT to erase them till I've had a chance to post 'em. Best Reverbs.............GREAT SHOW! ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

I better chime in on this one too...this was our debut as a surf band and what a blast it was...Great crowd...great bands.... great place....! The stage set up with a screen behind the bands playing videos and a serious TiKi theme in the room. Everybody made this show work but Don Schott and MWSG deserve a high five for gettin' it done!! I have to say the crowd loves the music even if they don't realize it! Everyone I talked to was blown away!! So exactly WHEN is the next one??
