UF -

Thanks for playing a couple of our tunes in your newest edition of Twang Shebang. We really appreciate the exposure and feel honored to be in the mix with all those other great surfbands. I'm suspect you never get tired of hearing this but, your show is a top notch production and worthy of national syndication. Until then, you'll have to take some satisifaction in knowing we'll be playing your latest show in our office this Friday - where every Friday is, "Surf Music Friday!"

it's too bad that when I was in Florida earlier this month I did not get to see CUTBACK live.....

anyway, your comment posted here for all to see is just amazing

you made an old non-surfer (well, not yet, anyway), surf-loving dude cry, I mean that; you have touched me with what you have said

It was a big thrill listening to our tunes on your amazing show!!
Only today I was able to sit and enjoy TWANGSHEBANG...I was really delighted to listen to so many outstanding bands and tunes! I was specially surprised to learn that Tim Renwick had a new album...great songs...he was a guitar player that always got my attention, since I listened to the Al Stewart albums (Modern Times, Year Of The Cat).

I am really amazed by your so kind words and great support! You live on our hearts!
Surf on!

Freddie, just got a chance to listen to the show, what a great collection of tunes. You're a very fortunate guy to have such a great gig, and we are all very fortunate that you have made "Twangshebang" possible.

You mentioned that you were going to take surfin' lessons. Our bass player has a house on the beach in Coco Fla., best wave on the east coast. Common down, plenty of extra boards, we'll have up and having fun in no time. Least we could do to say thanks for the spin. Rich

Freddie,

I really dig the latest show (does anyone say dig any more?). The playlist is great (as usual), and thanks for spinning our new tunes!

Shaloha Freddie......Mahalo for including us in your radio show. It's a great honor for us all the way out here in Hawaii. I did listen to the whole show and really enjoyed a lot of the music from around the world. The group from Finland was fantastic and i liked both of their tunes and Hula Hoop from Moscow!! Man alive the surf is everywhere! Your interview with Mr. Neutron in front of the club was really funny...those guys are wacky as well as very good musicians...i liked the "Big Sur Prize" (sp?)with the acoustic guitars...nice! The group from Montreal was very good also. Now, The TomorrowMen.....let's see.....DANNY SNYDER can play guitar!! I think he would be good on any kind of music as he's a really talented player. There used to be a surf shop on Gillman St. and San Pablo called Surf Berkeley and he always reminds me of going in there and buying a leash or wax or....before heading over to Ocean Beach in S.F. and catching a few waves in a FULL WETSUIT!!!
Your tribute to our drummer Conrad and his family before our segment was very sweet and i'll make sure he hears that. He just had surgery on his shoulder (detached tendon!!) and will be out for a couple of months so we had to replace him for our weekly show at The Sheraton Kauai Resort. Thanks again for spinning "No Can Tells" and "Johnny's Reef" and a big Aloha and Mahalo for all you do for the surf community.
