There isn't one for PHP-Nuke that is out now. However several of us have been playing with some wiki software, and I think I'll install it separately on a sub-domain, like maybe wiki.surfguitar101.com or something. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Cool. I've used TWiki before. Its Perl based and a bitch to set up correctly. Its got a lot of features though. —Ryan |

...and if you want something perl-based that's simple, ol' UseMod or its derivatives are quick and easy to set-up. I've been a user (not an admin) of a few Wikka Wakka wikis (PHP and MySQL based) and they seem to work pretty well... http://www.usemod.com/cgi-bin/wiki.pl I'm as free from money as a frog is from feathers |

I think I'll probably go with PMWiki. It's simple and configurable. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

On the user side, I have used numerous Mac oriented chat clients. Ircle was super simple and cheap and I used that for years. Now that iChat is built into the OS I mostly just use that. Back when I was also using Windows I liked Trillion but have no idea if its still around. An added plus about iChat is how easy it is to video and/or voice conference now. |

Wow, the irc server is running. I'll make a more formal announcement as soon as I figure out what the hell I am doing!!! irc.surfguitar101.com I don't know what client to use, so I randomly picked ChatZilla. It is an addon for Firefox, so it was a quick and painless install. I managed to connect to the server with this command: /server irc.surfguitar101.com 6667 morereverb I then joined the ShallowEnd channel using the IRC/Join Channel menu item. You can change your nickname easily too by clicking the button next to where you type. That's about all I know for now. I'll be in here for a while tonight. I have important business at 8:00 pm CST (cough, cough), but I'll be popping in and out. What ports aren't blocked? I could change it...snicker...snicker... —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

That's a good question. I'm not sure the exact port ranges. All I know is that I've never been able to connect to any irc channels from my work. If we get this up and running, I'm definitely going to spend some time and "bypass" this little hinderance Ryan |
