Permalink Mosrite action baby!

New Topic

Hey,

I was wondering how high the action was on your Mosrites? For those of you that have them that is!

At the 12th fret (6th string) mine's at about 4mm.. I always feel as if it could be lower, but how high people have their action has always been a total mystery to me, so sharing may clear this up for me!

Thanks,
Max

About 3 mm and using Pyramid Nickel Classics 010-046 round wounds.

Really? Hmm. I can't seem to lower it much than the action I have now without there being loads of buzz from the neck.

What else can I do except lower the bridge? Any tips on how to lower the action would be fantastic.. it's too high for my liking!!

Thanks again,
Max

p.s. a dummy's guide would be best as that is what I am.

Yeah, mine is crazy low too -- probably around 2.5 to 3 mm

Sounds like a trussrod adjustment issue.

A dummy's guide!
