Mom Surfing - I like the blue one with the spheres. Is that kind of fabric readily available where you are or is it new old stock or something?

Dear Jeff,
Us folks here at the Detonator Camp realize your having a real hard time getting laid, so we really would like to help.
The person below was asking for your phone number.
Good luck champ.

No worries Carol, just thought I'd ask as over here the best I can find are rayon shirts from China that aren't big enough and the designs look like something from, well, um they're just plain wrong.

I have a bunch of vintage (and vintage-looking) Hawaiian shirts. I think they are gloriously tacky. I will never wear one of them on stage as I am not, at the moment, a Parrot Head.

Excellent!
I think you should dress like the "King of Surf Guitar" and wear a black leather jacket.
That way you won't be called a Parrot Head. Instead you'll be called a " Dick Head"...............
Cheers.

Hi Carol,
When I first saw your pics I thought. Cool. An hawaiian shirt with a swallow-tail. Then quickly realized it was just hangin on a surfboard.
Here' the deal. Can you make me an hawaiian shirt with a swallow-tail in the back, and another shirt with a pintail? Shhhhhhhh. Don't tell anybody our idea............;D

Ah. Like the boomerang and starburst patterns?
What I do miss is seeing that fabric with the print that repeats every couple of feet, and was intended specifically for making dashikis out of, much like this one:
http://www.wilsdom.com/store/media/kids-dashiki3012z.jpg
They had the greatest mix of colours, back in the day.
— I'm not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.
