for the END-OF-SUMMER SURF-ROCK SHINDIG on SEPT. 20th, 2 bands have confirmed, 100% The Tarantinos/NYC 2 other bands have asked me to "hold" them a slot, but have not yet confirmed 100% still have 4 openings (or 5 or 6 if these other 2 bands do not commit) any other bands out there interested? thxxxx UNSTEADY FREDDIE — |

Can't wait for your next marathon shindig. The one last Saturday was a freakin' awesome event. Surf from 6 to 2 am, all different styles of surf and every band played their hearts out. I know I should write a recap, but my mind is still reeling. I was there by 5:45 pm in order to see all of The Octomen set, followed by Mister Neutron. I only missed one band (had to grab some Italian for dinner), but I came back with my batteries fully charged to catch 5 more bands. I finally stumbled out the door at 2:30 am. Aaahhh, folks get to NYC this summer and go to one of Unsteady Freddie's many Otto's show. It'll change your life. —Aloha, |

thx B.S.R. which is why Otto's and I decided to put our unsteady heads together and do it again for September 20th will have a couple more bands to announce as 100% confirmed for 9/20/08, probably by tonight leaves openings for 4 more to fill it up UNSTEADY FREDDIE — |

Oh, Freddie, I can't believe the number of surf shows this summer. It seems like just last week I was at one of your Otto's extravaganzas?! Hey, wait, I was there a week ago. What a night it was! From the Octomen to the Outpatients and everyone in between: Mister Neutron, Strange But Surf, The Clams, the Supertones, The Wake the Wake, and El Muchacho, it was a wonderful. looking WAY WAY ahead, to JANUARY 3 2009 that is the FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH, hence it will be (God willing!) another SURF-ROCK SHINDIG it just so happens that January 5th is my Birthday sooooooooooo, here's the deal I am going to do a SPECIAL UNSTEADY BIRTHDAY SURF-ROCK SHINDIG on January 3 2009 it will start at 6 pm I will need 8 bands, one every hour, last band goes on 1 am UNSTEADY SURF-BEAT JAM to follow if there is interest if anyone wants to reserve a slot for this event, write me off-line, schizofredric@yahoo.com thanx |
