SURF-ROCK SHINDIG -- THIS SATURDAY MAY 2nd -- we have had a line-up change ..... STRANGE BUT SURF will perform at 11 pm (THE BRIGANTINES regrettably had to cancel ... hope to re-book them for a show in the near future). THE POSTER has been updated. As has THE EVENT (link provided below).

have a special 2 + 2 = 4 Holiday Surf-Rock Shindig scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 4th

we've had a line-up change for the AUGUST 1 2015 "SURF-ROCK SHINDIG" @ Otto's Shrunken Head; 2 bands actually have had to drop out. Hey, LIFE HAPPENS, right?? But 2 of NYC's finest surf combos have grabbed the open slots!! That's right my friends!! The SUPERTONES and the TARANTINOS-NYC are now gonna perform!! This SHINDIG promised to be AWESOME!!

the TarantinosNYC have had to pull out of the October Shindig; in their place is a 'hybrid band' of top-shelf instro-surf musicians (they focus on Link Wray and Davie Allan); so I had to re-do the Poster and update the Event. Here's all you need to know!

Looking forward to going back to one of the best surf friendly clubs on the East Coast with the "Ed Sullivan" of surf, the Unsteady One. BTW I just listened to several of the Derangers and Black Flamingos tunes, great stuff! Hope to hear more of the Fireballs of Surf when I get there!

I was up for the Dead & Company show at the Garden Saturday, and had a chance to swing by Otto's for the last two bands. What a great venue!!! I can heartily recommend the Shrunken Head. Wish I could have had a few more.
