got a couple of changes for some forthcoming SURF-ROCK SHINDIGS; let me elaborate: for this coming Saturday, September 6 2014, a band dropped out, to be replaced by THE VIVISECTORS (thx guys!); plus some time changes for the show. A poster I've put together speaks for itself:

this promises to be one of those EXTRA-EXTRA-SPECIAL 'Surf-Rock Shindigs' appreciate THEE ICE PICKS bringing THE TSUNAMIBOTS with them to Otto's for this show; from what I hear, I am anticipating an unsteady pounding surf invasion from a galaxy far far away The TarantinosNYC never EVER fail to throw together a brilliant set of their mix of instro surf!! and it's great to have back my buddies from North of the border, the fabulous sci-fi/spy combo, THE REVERB SYNDICATE the ENERGY is BUILDING NICELY!! if U R in the NYC area this coming Saturday, please swing by and make 'The Surf Scene' as Sammy Davis, Jr. was once overheard saying at one of my soirees, "it's gonna be a gasser of a hang-ten groove, man" that Sammy ... what a cut-up; we sure miss his presence @ Otto's UNSTEADY FREDDIE — |

there's been a switch of times between 2 bands for my BIRTHDAY SHINDIG 2 weeks from today. LET'S GO TRIPPIN' will now go on @ 10 pm, and The ByzanTones will go on @ 11 pm. There's a NEW POSTER, and the EVENT has been updated.
