I just finished reading The Spear by James Herbert and right now I'm reading The Ambler Warning from Robert Ludlum which is the same guy that wrote The Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum which were all made films.

"Sweat", the Joe Bonomo book about the Fleshtones... Fantastic, plenty of insights into the development of the band, but also about the NY music scene from the mid-70s onwards...

Nice Klas!
If you judge a book by its cover, then I'd say that's the coolest book of all time!!

Cool Serge! Do you do PHP for a living? I haven't messed with it much. I'm pretty much only doing all Java dev. at this point.

Naw, I haven't gotten to that point yet - I just do small things here and there. I haven't messed around with Java very much - other than doing the "Hello World" program. Are you in the programming business?

Yep. Been doing it professionally for about five years or so.

Serge, I'm also into PHP and MySQL.
I'm reading "Roll Me Over: An Infantryman's World War II". Yikes. I will never complain about being cold, tired, or hungry again.

I'm in the middle of the Eric Clapton autobiography, titled, oddly enough, "Clapton". I don't know how that man is still alive today. What an inspiration to see how someone so far down salvaged a life and career and is now helping others who have been down the same road.
Still on my list to read, are "Shakey", the story of Neil Young, and "Bad Moon Rising", the Creedence Clearwater story.

It is - I haven't picked it up myself, but a classmate of mine vigorously lauded its praises, and said that seeing the amazon box waiting for him on his doorstep was one of the happiest moments of his life. Sadly, that speaks volumes about his kids....

"Shakey", the story of Neil Young
Excellent book. It's a hefty read, but well worth it. The author doesn't pull any punches about Neil's, shall we say, questionable application of quality control.
