Hi Freddie,
Why don't you & Dan plan to come down to Toronto for the 2008 Great Lakes Surf Battle? It's a 5 hour drive from Montreal, and we hope to have Tiki Tena back from California, along with a special friend or two, and a host of others. Check out the thread from previous years:

The 2008 dates haven't confirmed, but it'll probably be the first weekend in June, as in prior years.

re: the GREAT LAKES SURF BATTLE....that's what I was alluding to in my previous post
DAN lives in MONTREAL, I am a NYC HELL'S KITCHEN sweller
but if it the first weekend of JUNE....that is a problem for me b/c I do my SURF-ROCK SHINDIGs every first SATURDAY of the month....which, in JUNE, in JUNE 7th
actually, that will be a killer SHINDIG...check out the bands: THE RECRUDERS, THE 9th WAVE, SURF AND TURF, THE SHARKSKINS

SOOO! Surf battle talk anyone? This year, airfare is through the roof. I really want to return and want Jenny to attend with me. Apparently, it looks like June 7 is the date for that.
