desert_surfer Joined: Jun 29, 2020 Posts: 57	Posted on Apr 11 2024 04:52 PM Princeton Reverb but make it the 65 reissue, it’s a classic and sweeter bell-like cleans. the other amps you initially listed in your first post are too big for home and the Tonemasters sound ok but not the same to my ears. Years ago I had 1962 non-reverb Princeton that was identical visually to the Chris Stapleton one, but his version can get WAY louder than the original ever one was. I built my own 6G2 which has a 12" speaker but it does not get loud at all. Turning up the volume just compresses the signal after a certain point. Don't think it's just the efficiency of the speaker.
