Permalink Unsteady Freddie Re-Birthday show! Celebrating 25 years of sobriety!

NYC's Ed Sullivan of Surf music (Unsteady Freddie) is celebrating 25 years of being sober with a special edition Surf-Rock Shindig, of course at Otto's Shrunken Head in Manhattan's East Village!

Freddie has put together a great NYC based line up, and we'd love to see everyone come support this accomplishment of Freddie's! As he said to me on the phone when he booked us...just because he doesn't drink, doesn't mean you can't!

Wow happy birthday Freddie! My old band played at one of his shows at Otto's once, back around 2004. Cool guy and I'm so impressed at the sober thing. Wish I still lived there and could go.

I think that may have been the first year of the surf rock shindigs at Otto's! He's kept them going once per month ever since (save for about 15 months during the pandemic)!

Freddie,
Congratulations. You have been an integral part of my life as a surf guitarist and my 3 bands that have played at Otto's, MegaTsunami, Reverb Galaxy and now Agent Octopus. You always encourage; thanks for all the great shows and friendship.

I love you man
