Permalink For Sale - Fender Stratocaster 2002 Midnight Wine

New Topic

I bought this guitar hoping that this would become my daily driver, unfortunately that has not happened. Played it a few times at home, put it in a case and it has been there ever since! I had it professionally setup, from fret dressing to leveling, check electronics, adjust string nut, action, trem float, etc. Finishing it off with new D'addario 11-49 strings. Comes with hard case and red guitar strap.

This is a MIM Fender Stratocaster - dealer exclusive MOTO Strat, 2002 that was produced for music retailer, Daddy's Junky Music stores back east. A limited edition, perfect for someone looking for a unique Strat.

According to both Fuzzfaced.net and Just Guitars Australia this is 1 of 60 (not #1) in the Midnight Wine color.

Your asking price is much too high or you would post a price. Yes??

"Here's to the man who drinks dark ale and goes to bed quite mellow. He lives as he ought to live and dies a jolly good fellow"

Wow, I completely spaced that!!! Thanks for pointing that out. Asking price is $800, that includes shipping in the continental US.

So yeah, the price is too high. Also, there were way, waaaayyyyy more than 60 Strats made in this color at that time. In 2002, MIM Strat was about $350 new and you couldn’t give this color away. Anyone paying $800 for a Strat today is going to just buy a new Player series. I’m not trying to be a jerk, this is just the reality of it. You’ll never see $800.

SOLD - Thanks for your opinion, just sold it through Facebook marketplace!!
