The Knobs are from a Fender Mini Tone Master.

After some trial and error, I moved the Blossom Point off my board. It's absolutely nothing to do with what the pedal is doing or not doing, it's just not what my ape ears are expecting to hear out of my rig. I dig what it does to my tone, when at home fooling around and it NAILS that driven brownface sound. It turns out that's not MY sound (there's another pedal for that). Big Grin

I love all the SurfyBear products and have a bunch of their tanks in my stuff, but the Blossom Point isn't what this ape personally needs for my rig. It will ABSOLUTELY do the driven brownface, so I can recommend it on that level - but it's not going to work for everybody/every situation.

Here are some sample clips of how it sounded. Please remember, this was recorded on an iPhone, not a professional mic.

Dude, that is a bada@@ tone! Big Grin

Thank you very much, that means a lot to me. I always keep my Brownfacer dimed, but I am wondering if somebody messed with it a bit as I had the "community" rig that night.

The bottom line... If I am not playing my Showmans, I am using my Brownfacer. I have to work a hell of a lot harder playing the guitar when not using it.
