Terrible and sad.
Dave was my favorite Pilgrim, and i've only met him once on their first Euro tour. I embarassed myself by babbling some fanboi talk to him but he kept it polite and humble. I still consider that gig in Stuttgart being one of my best Live memories i had with Instrumental Surf in general.
Truth is, i'm still a fanboy and he will live on as long we listen to their music.

Satan's Pilgrims have always been (quite obviously) a big influence on what we do, and after Dave's passing, we wanted to try to find a way to pay our respects to him and that influence. It took us a little while to get it done, but this is our tribute to Dave and the music of Satan's Pilgrims.

Thanks Samurai. Covid pushed things back a long ways - we didn't play together for well over a year but were finally able to start up again and ultimately put this tribute together. Dave's passing still hurts, and will for quite some time, but playing these great songs brought back positive memories as well - first discovering them in the '90s through playing some shows together. Pilgrims forever.

Great medley guys - the prefect way to pay tribute to Dave and SP! I love the crunch you gave to the songs, not just emulating their sound, and of course, the reverb crashes throughout were a nice touch!
