cool, that's exactly the intention of the book...making things clearer and demistify them ( intead of saying i play some crazy high note chords naming them properly as triads and so on.)
I agree about the Mosrite - wasn't on my radar and I don't know too many people playing them, but for sure, that would be a nice surf guitar, too!

Mine arrived yesterday and I was duly impressed. I’ve been playing since 1966, so there were a whole lot of surprises, instructionally, but having all of this information in one place would sure have come in handy back when I was learning the craft.

The songs are great and the information on equipment is, once again, something that would be of tremendous value when someone is learning their way around Surf guitar.

The quality of the book itself, the printing and the materials used, are of the highest order. The spiral binding makes this book much easier to use and certainly comes in handy when you are playing the exercises. I would recommend this book to any player, of any skill level.

The workouts in the book have been compiled from the repertoire of Jon & The Nightriders, The lnsect Surfers, The Torquays, Slacktone and The Razorblades. In addition, the book lists the twelve most important surf classics that anyone interested should listen to and learn.
