Tikidog Joined: Jun 23, 2006 Posts: 177	Posted on Jun 18 2020 06:51 AM The book is travelling the world... check out this pic from nice people, who bought it: Here's some shipping info for the USA: THE SURF GUITAR BOOK-SHIPPING TO THE US Surf friends from the US…here’s how it looks at the moment: You can still order from this site, but the Covid 19 crisis is causing some disturbances in the mail-process. All SURF GUITAR BOOKS ordered from US-customers will be shipped out by Double Crown Records. Here’s why: Usually I would be able to ship a book for 7 € as a Warensendung to the USA – the German equivalent to media mail. At the moment the German postal service/ DHL cancelled all shipping possibilities apart from letters or tracked parcels. So I would have to pay 53 € for one book. Not an option….. Luckily I have friends… For the surf guitar book, I have help from Sean Berry from Double Crown Records. I ship a larger quantity of books to him via UPS, send him an Excel sheet with the addresses and he’s mailing them out to the individual customers. Might take a few days longer sometimes, but it works! We sold the first batch of 80 books. The next 30 books will be sent out on June 25 and should be in the US at the beginning of July. Hopefully the situation resolves soon, it’s a real drag for musicians! Thanks for your understanding and patience! Top
