OK... I just received the official announcement for Drive Invasion 2007 from the Starlight Six Drive In in Atlanta, GA...
The Intoxicators! are playing...
Laramie Dean is playing...
and the event is being emceed by SG101's (and El Capitan's) own Jet Powers...
So come on out...

Fez is DEAD-ON!!

Drive-Invasion--the coolest party in the Southeast, conceived and created by Rip Thrillby--will have it's 9th Birthday this Labor Day. Bands, B-Movies, BBQ, classic cars, vendors, and more!!!

The band line-up posted above is confirmed. The movies may change a little due to print availability. You'll note that on-site camping is available. It's a Drive-In--you can eat, drink, relax and more with whatever yer willing to haul in. Those with kids should consider the daytime activities to be PG-13, while the night wanders into R-rated territory...

I look forward to seein' ya there Fez!! (and whoever else is comin'!) Yer all welcome under the blue canopy we set up down front every year.

Sounds like one helluva line-up. If you haven't seen Unkown Hinson before, you've got to check this guy out. He is a killer guitarist, much better live than his studio work. He just blew me away at how talented he was. And the swinging neck breakers are great as well, I didn't know they were still around. This should be a great weekend.
