Again, well done!

Well, the sad part is I'm a talentless player. I'm attracted to the building of a guitar, but absolutely suck at playing one. I have a little Princeton Reverb that I use to set up & tune the guitars, and occasionally attempt to learn a song or two. But I really don't have any message to convey musically; I just like designing & makin' guitars.

Plus, I don't have a phone or any means to record & send videos, so there's that...

Someone on another forum suggested getting a custom neck plate, so I searched around and found a service offered by Philadelphia Luthier. Fair price, at about $20 shipped. I ordered it Friday, and it arrived today (!). Well packaged, and it includes new screws and a small setup gauge.

A member on a different forum suggested adding something 'spacey' to the headstock logo, so here's what we came up with. I REALLY like it.

Thanks. I have it wired through a 5-way switch, Strat-style. Same types of sounds, with 'quack' at 2 & 4, but darker, grittier and beefier.

It seems like it’s damn near impossible to come up with an original design that doesn’t look either ridiculous or is some half-assed take on one of the existing classcs. That guitar is absolutely awesome!!! Fantastic job!!!

Thanks so much Agent. That was my intention, to design a guitar that wasn't based on a Strat, Tele, LP, Jag, etc. It started with a few doodles, some of which I felt were too radical, but this one seemed to walk the line between conservative & radical, and I kept adding details until I liked it.
