When I read "the bottom line..", 1000 corporate buzz phrases jump into my head that all make me want to Puke . Corporate buzz words would probably warrant their own thread, but I could rattle off a few of them here if anyone would like to slim down a bit. Laughing

"tone" -eeesh!

It's not one that irks me, but I sometimes refer to my hollow bodied Ibanez as a "jazz box." Or, I'll call a hollow bodied electric with a vibrato arm a "rockabilly box."

Poor Eric Clapton... who is actually a fantastic songwriter.

Poor Eric Clapton... who is actually a fantastic songwriter.

Are you sure you meant to use "is" in that sentence?

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Let it Grow is an amazing song, Layla, Bell Bottom Blues, I Looked Away. All superb. Beautiful melodies. He did more than shitty blues in the 80s.

A few other terms for the list: D-Tuna, neo-classical, sweep-picking, plank-spankin'.

Intersting that nothing from the last 30 years made the cut.
