Fly to Pisa, it's easy and cheap to go to Livorno from there. Otherwise, the train system in Italy is pretty good and reliable. Top

They don't have any of his original paintings there, but a good exhibition on his life and the Modigliani family. We have stayed close by at Grand Hotel Palazzo before. It is very nice but expensive. Thinking it might be time for someplace further away but I am wondering how available taxis are? Some events end very late! Top
