Any twilight zone fans here? I'm I the only nerd that still watches it?

I have very fond memories of watching that with my dad. Cool show.

There was 'zone marathon the other day and I
caught a few 'sodes. The one where the girl gets
plastic surgery that goes horribly wrong was on
(they take the bandages off and shes normal yet
everyone else looks like a pig-face) Haha that
show is so corny and it seems like William Shatner
is in every other one? Still cool though.

I've got about a million episodes on video tape Rolling Eyes

I've seen every episode ever aired, and they are all saved on my computer. I'm a huge Twilight Zone geek.

Iron Maiden, you just saw one of my favorite episodes, Eye of the Beholder.

Science friction burns my fingers.

I recall TBS or some cable station running a marathon and they showed a really rare hour long episode about this mysterious guy (always shown in the dark) counseling a troubled dude, eventually and slowly turning him into the leader of a hate group....and in the end the mysterious guy who was always in the shadows was revealed to be...dum dum dum daaaaa.....Adolf Hitler...!

Anyone else see that? It was actually done very well despite sounding corny as I type this.

That doesn't sound corny at all.

What's that episode called where the guy loves to read and then his glasses break at the end and he can't see to do so?

I realize that that could have been typed better. Forgive me.

Futurama did a slight plug in of that episode.

I am super sweet

The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, etc all have made references to this classic show.

And who hasn't played the theme song on your guitar? And the song Out of Limits was obviously inspired by the theme song, even though it seems to be named after a similar TV show from the time: The Outer Limits.

Yeah, great episode. One of the better hour long episodes. The other tend to drag out too long.

This one is 'Time Enough At Last'. Classic Twilight Zone. The TomorrowMen actually have a song named after this episode.

One of the TV best shows ever in my opinion...and you can see so many well known actors had roles in it in their younger days.
Actually, the first time I was exposed to TWZ was in the late 80's when the Israeli TV showed the new show. Then in the realy 90's Israel got cable, and they had a channel that would show the original late at night. I watched almost all the episodes. Also, I remember that one of my buddies invited my wife and I to a TWZ marathon on Laser Disc at his place...fun.
Trivia - The Astroglides' "Nervous Man in a $4 Room" was inspired by TWZ (and not by "Out of Limits" as Phil Dirt).
http://www.theastroglides.com/mp3/Astroglides-NervousManIna$4Room.mp3 (warning - not surf...it's "Instru-Metal")
It was a development of my noodling from the days I started to play guitar. The name is taken from a TWZ episode. We looked at all the episode names until we found one that sounded cool as a song name. The episode is not the best, but all the real good ones have names that didn't sound right as song names.

That's right, and my old band - The Sardonics - had a song named after my favorite episode 'Next Stop Willoughby'. That was the one where the stressed out NYC ad man fell asleep on the train every night home and woke up in 1899. One needs to be a bit of a romantic anachronist to enjoy that episode, but hey we're playing music from 45 years ago so we qualify.

Time Enough At Last (Burgess Meredith) and Next Stop Willoughby are also two of my faves. And it is great to see so many stars, A and B list on the show. But one of my favorite things is Rod Sterling's introductions and little moral evaluations at the end of each episode. And the lead in on each show. Classic!

I love the spoof of that episode on Futurama. Hilarious.
