Yep, I'll agree. A D130F loaded 2x15 is stupid heavy. I do gig with mine but also bitch about moving it.

I love Weber speakers. I thought I had a California for a long time but turned out to be a Chicago. Have one in each of my tone ring cabs

Props to you, man. Those are a hell of a lot of cabinet.

Curious, Scot - are you using the Alnico or Ceramic Chicago? Assuming the Ceramic rated @ 80 watts not the 60 watt Alnico which (sh)would be prone to getting blown by the Showman... But you know what they say about assuming. ; )

Nevermind. Seeing YT comments ID'ing the ceramic magnet. Thumbs Up

I have one of these (Dual Showman Reverb) cabs. This is my go to speaker box at home. It stays where it is. I go to it LoL.

Yes, mine stays where it is as well.

I thought Eminence was making a newish JBL type 15" for steel guitar, but I don't see it listed. I don't think it was the Commonwealth.

I have an EVM 15L that I plan on using with my DSR or BMR. I need to get a cab built. But I really like K series JBL's, I use the 12's in a 2 x 12" cab I have. Could some someone who's tried the EVM 15 and any JBL 15 compare the differences?

All opinions expressed by this poster are well thought out and based on actual experience and/or scientific experimentation, except for those which are knee-jerk reactions or good sounding fantasies.

I wish I could. The EVM15 I have sounded immensely better than the Eminence I had in there first. I've never even seen a JBL15.

The Weber was a big improvement, sounds tighter and brighter!
