It was a fun day, thanks for the photos Rich.
Only 2 bummers:
When I got there, I saw what I thought as my band mates, but they weren't - it was Deep See that somehow had the same shirts as our stage shirts. Can't have that fashion faux pax, so we just played in our "street clothes".
Also, I broke my succesion of more than 10 years free of fender benders. Didn't stop in time after the truck in front of me stopped abruptly. Trailer Hitch 1 -Hyundai Elantra 0.

Ran, Bummer about the fender bender, how bad is it?
was that on the way up, or back home.
Rich, thanks for the pics. always great to see reminders of what went down.
to all, this last pic
really shows a good section of the crowd.
towards the end of the day there was probably about 300 people there watching. Most are not surf fans crowd that we know. Just passers by, and beach people.
why is it so hard to get surf fans to a show at the beach with 6 bands and for free???????????????????

Got something else for you guys too that has been changed as of this morning for Surfin Sundays. Reventlos had to switch dates with Billy Scanlan's group for vacation reasons. Billy Blastoff and the Surf Rockets are playing at the museum Aug 12th from 1 to 3 Pm and Reventlos are playing Aug 19th from 1 to 3 Pm at the museum.
As for the mis-spelling of Sand Devils I did correct that on my flyers when I discovered it about a week ago and didn't realize BTD had posted it on here in the forum section...Sorry

Damian,
are you playing with somebody, or just you guys?
The Museum has no equipment to use.
