So I thought I'd copy Ferenc with his "Hype Machine" thread and do the same for Satan's Pilgrims so it's all in one central place instead of five different threads going on at once (I know Brian appreciates this too)  .
The first order of business is for all you Portland area folks. We will be playing on Thursday Sept. 24th at Gorge Performance Surf and Snowboard Shop 7400 SW Macadam Ave, Portland, OR 97219. I'm not sure what time yet, but it will be on the early side and there will be snacks, drinks and beer!
I will post more details as I get them.

In other news, some of you might be familiar with our good friend and last minute fill-in guitarist Ewoud/Avout Vanderwerf, also known as Eddy Pilgrim. He is the owner of Shorty's Pinball Saloon in Seattle and Shorty's in danger of being redeveloped out of Belltown in Seattle. Oh yeah! Note that “Eddie” Pilgrim (Ewoud) [I'm pretty sure that this is correct] played the second set at the Gorge Performance surf shop. Four, count 'em four, guitars, two each Jaguars and Mosrites, pumping through Showmen/Bassmen when Dave wasn't on keys. Once again the mighty Satan's Pilgrims bring it in Portland. We had great time dancing our little hearts out, and free beer taboot - nice touch Gorge Performance! And we brought a couple of friends into the House of Rock.
Unfortunately, an automotive issue for our daughter put the kibosh on our ability to attend the Saturday night party. Drats! So we spun Psychsploitation when we got home to make up for it. :)
Can't wait for the next PDX SP adventure.

Great review, Ted, congratulations! The writer clearly took the time to educate himself on the band, and did a great job summing up what the Pilgrims were about. Very nice.
