Hi everyone,
I am back home and recovering from one of the best times of my life! For nearly a week and a half at the end of August, the Pilgrims spent what days they could sharing a rental house on the Oregon coast, doing some songwriting, demo recording, practicing, digging clams (heh), cooking and eating miraculous seafood, boogie boarding, bonfires on the beach, drinking, celebrating the August birthdays of Dave, Scott and John (John and Scott's 50th) and capping it off with a secret show (two full sets-36 songs!) at the San Dune Pub in Manzanita to an unsuspecting crowd of unsuspecting vacationers and old salts. Oh that looks so relaxing and nice,
As much as I enjoyed Italy, the surf convention, tiki oasis.
I need a week off just sitting at the coast, relaxing.

Its that creepy time of year when you need some surf monster Halloween party sounds! True enough, but what's a surf drummer to do for $? Apparently, joining the Sonics is the only answer, and someone else has that job locked down.
