It's an American word so it just gets loaned into other languages. Turks spell it with an umlaut over an 'o'.
Serbian has lots of words with no written vowels, like the word for the Serbs themselves: Srp. Thus, 'srf'.

Yep, kinda why I figured the one that's closest to surf phonetically, but with Cyrillic characters. Fascinating sometimes. I remember back in the eastern sector of 60's Berlin the Soviets would put up 'Stop' signs that simply said: 'стоп' Gotta kick out of that; quite a few of our words get borrowed. Anyway, to Russian Surf Music!
