Epic event! So special.
The coverage is splendid, and reminds me of the amazing time i had last year there. I hope to visit again.
Cheers to all the great bands playing this year!

OK,
Surfer Joe Summer Festival is finished! Really tired, not only because of the amount of bands, but also the weather. Very windy, sometimes even chilly, couple of rain showers. The sunday program was even replaced inside. I think that since our show with the Aloha Sluts wich was moved upstairs halfway the show, because of a thunderstorm this never happened before.
Some great highlight nevertheless! Bradipos IV with Annette (great soulsinger with a surfband, what a match made in heaven), Slacktone (briliant as ever), my friends of The Biaritz Boys and LHD wich was half of the Bambi Molesters, great band! And that's just to name a few....
Here are some pics:

Arny, great photos as always. Many thanks! You should consider publishing a book of these from the various festivals.

My son, my ex-wife and myself flew to Pisa on Tuesday. On Wednesday we visited PISA (quite hot that day) and the next day Thursday we made a trip to the ancient city of San Grimignano where we spent most of the time in a restaurant enjoying the great view into the Toscana.
I met again Eddy Luca of "Surfin´s Back Again" internet shop. Due to my proceeding walking handicaps I don´t know if I ever will be able to come to another event? So I did enjoy being there at least on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon/evening meeting some old contacts and new surf music enthusiasts.BTW Dusty Watson liked the black t-shirt "Surfer Joe - Stay Stoked he told me. Hope he could buy one ....
