I am a 1 of 2 guitarist and Camp Counselor for Zombie Surf Camp.

Not a true instro surf band, but surf influenced punk/garage rock. We have vocals on almost all songs.

My current active Surf band is The Aquamarines from San Francisco.

I am also the founding member of The Tube Sharks. I have also been with Monster Pete & The Chiefs (circa 1998) and The Twang Ten Cowboys (circa 2004).

Yes, I've heard of them, but haven't checked out their music yet.
There was also a band from California called the Surfonics (great band BTW) but they changed their name to the Reverbs and have been defunct a long time. There was no internet back in '93 when we named the band so it was a lot harder to find out if anyone else was using the same name.

I play lead guitar and some trumpet in The 'Verb.

I'm in a band, just not a surf band. I would consider my guitar playing influenced by surf, however.

Wow, you have quite the resume there!

Rick Mills here. I play guitar in the Volcanos.
Also play in a couple non-surf bands, the 3-D Invisibles, the Hellbenders, and the Meltdowns.

The Volcanos

Hey Rick-

Look forward to seeing you guys at the show in Chicago on 5/27!

I don't yet have a band, but that's not gonna stop me from (in the near future) starting to lay down guitar and bass tracks, toward fully realizing several of my surf guitar originals that I'm itching to record...two of them I've noodled with for 15 years, now, so it's about time I start committing some things to plastic. So far, drums will be my biggest challenge, and I probably won't know "till I get there" what I'm going to do about drum tracks for my recordings.

Once I'm to the point of burning things to CD, I'll let y'all know what "band" name I ultimately chose, as I've got several in consideration, although quite a few of them might make for better song titles, than a band name.

Hey, Jet. Cool! Yeah, I think it's gonna be a good night. The Cocktail Preachers were GREAT last time we played together and you know anything Ivan does will be good. We're looking forward to it, too.

Cool Matt, good luck with everything.

I play guitar in a Richmond, Va. band - "3rd Wave". Mostly surf or related instrumentals.
