And the best thing is, in a few months many people who will have bought one will realize that they don't use it as much as they thought they would, and next thing you know eBay and Craigslist will be full of them. I don't think I'll be able to hold out that long though. My only complaint so far is the choice of colours. I wish these came in at least one fancier color (sherwood green would have been killer!). And that sunburst looks just wrong... looks more like tobacco burst. But the good thing is, for that kind of price, you can probably afford a refin as well. —Old punks never die... I've heard that sanding most of the clear off of an oly. white squier makes an excellent primed body, ready to be finished in your choice of color.. I can't wait to try them! If it matches the quality of the VM jags/jazzy's... I'll have something else to spend my imaginary money on. —IMO. |

Do you think the resale value of the PS Bass VI will drop now? When the VM models hit the market, blacktop series instruments dropped substantially.... Might this be a chance to lay hands on a cheap pawn shop series bass VI? —IMO. |

I don't think this was played through a bass amp. Solo about 1:46. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

Preston..not sure if and how much they might drop in value...with Fender focus more than ever on building what will move quickly, I would not have envisioned so many choices in this type of guitar..been looking real heavy at a CS model on the bay, but even with the dealer coming down some, it's hard to part w/that much cash..I have a bari tuned B-B but wold like to add a bass VI — |

FUCK YES!!! I'm am going to buy this so quickly. Pawn Shops were really underwhelming and I thought long and hard about the CIJ and the Custom Shops before I bought other stuff. |

Also, that neck needs to go... Hopefully Musikraft or USA Custom Guitars can make one. |

If I end up with one, I've got the same idea. Heel adjust, 7.25 radius, tint and relic it to match my jag neck.. USACG makes one, same scale. Not sure if the heel will match up. May want to get the headstock reshaped, but that's of course personal preference. —IMO. |
