Last comment from me in this thread that detracts from the fact that 2013's Convention is sure to be another sensational event...
Jeff - I'd offer maybe the only forum area folks may ignore religiously is the Gear section.
Brian's post the other day highlights the most user behavior is to click through the active topics on the home page. Meaning, little to no risk of folks ignoring the event based on the forum category it's in. I mean, come on ( ! ) we are talking about The Official SG101 Convention!
Besides, don't equate readership to turn out rate. Plenty of highly active post readers here who don't make shows for any number of reasons. And prolly some regulars at events that don't even have an account here or know this places exists.
Now back to your programing already in progress: months to come of build up in anticipation of the big event!

Oh boy, looks like another fantastic Convention coming up there. I can't believe that the 2013 Convention is getting so close. In many ways I feel like I just left the 2012 one....must be all the superb memories that just stay so clear in my mind from last year.

I am so happy I will be able to be there again!
Ok, my set will be with Jonpaul on bass and Marty Tippens on drums. We will go as a trio. The tour in between August 7th and 17th, going through SG101 and Tiki Oasis. All the shows will be listed very very soon... it will be a fun set for sure!
I am working on the recordings and we will present several new songs from a solo album I am doing. More about this to come...
Also we are putting up a saturday night after sg101 show in Anaheim that will see the great return of Daddy-O Grande, together with John Blair, me and Carlos Tequila Worms.
And there will be Paul Johnson & friends! Watch out for a little release of 4 Paul's classics that we recorded in Italy last October. Hopefully it will be presented and available at the Convention!
So it looks like some good times are coming... can't wait to be there!

We'll be there! Hoping to catch some of the NoCal shows too, since we'll be up there through the 7th - can't wait to see who'll be playing NoCal and checking out some new SG venues!

Yes!! The Same.
The band had 2 cds from Japan out.
Reverb Explosion on Del Fi, was a best of comp.
Of the 2 cds, plus a few bonus tracks for the U.S. market.
Then in the 2000s they released a 3rd full length cd.
I believe they have done a few 45s also.
I hear there may be a new 45 to coincide with them
Playing the convention.
