I agree, i dont think Morphball is upset but he did intimate that if somebody describes something a little different to how it actually is then things "might get ugly".
Whats going to happen if one day somebody comes up with some amazing mods for the FRV and the subject is completely locked or banned or newbies get shouted down for enquirying about them? Surely, if the subject doesnt interest you you dont read it. Its easy. There are some forums I dont even look at because they dont interest me but im not going to suggest you remove that particular forum.

Yep... feelings are low, all is well and things have not turned ugly here at all. In my completely made-up example and poor attempt at humor, I would not have actually engaged in violence over something so trivial. I would have hopefully just cleared it up with the craig's list seller before driving out to see said pedal. Just pointing out that these are two different products, that's all.
As for the hypothetical above, it ain't ever happening with me... I really don't take these things that seriously. If you like the pedal, awesome. If you don't, still awesome.

Well again... no is banning anyone, no one is shouting anyone down, and no threads are being deleted.
Please, just use common sense. That is all I am asking. If you want to make a comment about the FRV-1, and it is in line with existing threads (did you even know there were existing threads?), just tack your comment onto an existing thread.
Just use common sense. Search first. It is proper forum etiquette. It helps to make the site more useful. Would you rather open SG101 in the morning and see the same 3 or 4 FRV-1 threads that you can ignore, or 10 new ones that are cluttering up the place? That is all.

Cheers.

Dont mean to be flipant but i can ignore the lot if i want to, 3/4 or 100 new ones. You have the control to remove new ones that you feel are repetetive, if its upsetting people im not sure why you dont do just that. Noel seems to have the right idea when faced with repetition, his response is useually a link to old threads, just what a newbie wants, tons of info without waiting hours/days for a response.
Anyway, fantastic and invaluble resource, a credit to all posters and organisers.
Cheers
