Tqi: Oy, Fender, Orange. One of you, make a 20W starved-plate valve bass amp. Like an Origin 20 with a big OT.

Kristena and Jonpaul, let's plan on doing Time Bomb together, with Danny as an option? The Avengers VI had 3 guitars and keyboards IIRC. Jonpaul, there's also that other song I talked about...let's all discuss offline.

That would be sooooo cool,
hoping that happens.

Wow! Congrats Jeff your little event is really growing with sponsors and attendance, we had a blast last year. The sg101 convention is such a cool event, really glad to see your gettin some respect with the sponsors and the great calibur of surf bands, well deserved.

Thanks Steve,

thanks for playing last year, was great to see you guys again.
and hope you can come out to see the convention, and maybe tiki oasis too.

a few people have started asking me about the Member Jam,
yes we will be doing this again.
probably around an hour.
start thinking of a song you would like to play,
if yer gonna be at the show.
preferably a little on the obscure side.

I will start a thread for the jam list after April.

Sounds like a real party! (Question to self - So how do I get myself stateside in August? :-?)

He who dies with the most tubes... wins

Surf Daddies

plane, boat, magic carpet, space shuttle,
how well do sheep float?
tie a bunch together, and make a raft like Forest Gump did.

I will be at the Convention and ready to be seized as a wingman on bass for the members jam.

bIGwAvE Dave
Bass, Brodaddy, The Aquamarines

Great News Dave,
will be good to see you again!!!

here is an old post from the 1st years convention thread:

For anybody that lives far away.
I know that home issues, and or Money issues are a big factor in something like this.

Believe me, I really shouldn't be going to Canada in June.
But I just gotta get outta here once in awhile and do something different.

Please note:
there is Six Flags Magic Mountain,
Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm,
Universal Studios, Sea world in SD area.
Zoo's in LA and SD.
and all the Beaches, and Mountain parks and Deserts

it would be the perfect place to bring your familys to for Summer Vacation, instead of just coming for the sg101 event.

But Brian, I am really doing alot of this for the fact that if somebody comes from Far away, it will be a surf overload weekend.

I hope you all can come out for this.
