GREAT news!! I knew this was supposed to happen, but it's one of those things where I was waiting to see it before I'd believe it. What's the issue, Steve, do you know? Thanks! —Ivan |

I just got the issue yesterday so it must be the current issue, it has the hack from Creed on the cover. |

Thanks, Steve. Sean received a scan of the review, and sent it to me. Here it is: Good review! They single out the Thunderchiefs (very trad), the Barbwires (trad with a progressive edge), and Daikaiju (fully prog), so a very nice cross-section of the CD and the current surf scene. Nice! thumbs up to Vintage Guitar! Let's see if it ends up drawing anybody new to modern surf music. —Ivan |

Awesome for sure! Are you expecting reviews from any other major guitar mags? |

I just listened to this album for the first time in a while. It is still absolutely amazing! If you want a broad sampling of the current surf bands of the day, you must pick this up! I'll repeat the track list here:

Thanks, Brian! I just listened to it myself for the first time in a year or two just last month, and thought it still sounds great! Jeff, the last I heard the CDs were all sold out. But I believe it can still be downloaded. —Ivan |
