Permalink Who are Greg Anderson and Michael Clarke?

So, I was on an online auction site and found some cds called "COOL SURF TUNES FROM THE ZONE" by Ongaku Records. They were cheap so I started looking for reviews before committing to buying. The only review that I found was on Phil Dirt's site (Reverb Central). He pretty much said that they were rehashings from Greg Anderson and Mike Clarke. Actually, his review was kind of brutal.
The description had kind of a funny warning.
NOTE: DUE TO MANUFACTURES PACKAGING ERROR, DISC INSIDE JEWEL CASE COULD POSSIBLY BE: "CURLS,CURLS, CURLS - SURF INSTRUMENTALS FROM ANOTHER WORLD"
Anybody heard these cds? Are they worth the few dollars that they are being sold for?
Here's a link to one site that offered them.

I don't think I ever heard Phil Dirt write a bad review so they must be pretty bad. Save your money for something good.

Phil's reviewing is all pretty good, but sometimes he likes something more or less than someone else will. I wouldn't worry over much about his absolute numerical ratings, but his descriptions are usually spot on and that seller's warning sounds like a way of saying "this could be even worse than you imagine."

Let the price and your collectorial goals be your guide.

Or just get it and use it to calibrate your Philometer.
