Permalink Jag/JM bridge saddle screws

New Topic

I'm the proud owner of a box of 100 little tiny allen screws that fit the saddles in our Jags and JM's (and Strats?) due to the fact that one fell out of mine recently. So, if anyone ever needs one, just send me a note and I can drop it in an envelope. No charge.

Danny, you're great! Thumbs Up

Every word is like an unecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Thanks, I keep 'em around too (in stainless) if anyone wants some.........ed

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

If they're stainless, they won't rust in place - better than loctite Very Happy

isnt there a theory that says that stainless steel screws sound better? (allrighty, where's the "duck for cover" smiley, I need one fast! Wink )

Yes but pre-CBS screws really have the sound.
I think the pre-CBS were 316L stainless and the later one were the cheap 304.

Mr. Green

Very nice offer Danny and Eddie, thanks.

Danny, I'd be interested in where you bought these from? Did you have to cut them down at all? I've lost around three in my day, and I know other 'verbians are missing some as well.

I ordered from my industrial supplier from my work - www.mcmaster.com

Just PM me your address I'll send a dozen your way. They are 1/4" long.

Do these fit U.S. guitars or CIJs? I know the allen size is different..(Metric vs. SAE)

I don't need any, I'm just curious.

My guess is just US guitars.
