Nice. I miss the 65 Bandmaster I made into a combo in my signature - it was one of the things stolen out of my gear locker. Had the Weber California's in it, but it was too bright, but with WGS G12C/S it was fantastic.
Once this covid runs its course, would want to build another one from a wrecked Bandmaster (the one I had had been modded like crazy, so was able to restore it back to AB763 specs)

I wouldn't mind having another stock BFBM but for the most part my Quilter is my go to surf amp now. My BFBM is an amazing amp but it just doesn't get used much.

I'll check out the 90 day demo if it's available for pc.
I'm also looking at Reaper and may take advantage of their 60-day free evaluation. If I like it, the license for a single user (as opposed to commercial) is only $60.
No Logic for PC; it’s Mac only, which is why Apple can be generous with the trial version.
If you go beyond the Reaper evaluation period, it will nag you, but otherwise remain fully functional. I’m not suggesting that you don’t pay for the licence, by the way. I only use it to make live multitrack recordings, but once I’d used it a few times and knew it suited my needs, I did pay for the licence. As you say, it’s very reasonably priced.

Looks awesome, stratdancer!
Thanks, djangodeadman - sounds like the Reaper is for me then. Yup, I'll pay for the license when the trial is up.
neodrama - I bought a Sennheiser E906 Factory Repack with full manufacturers warranty for $115 from Alto Music on Reverb. Should arrive Thursday!

Thanks! One of my customers owns several home theater stores in Ohio and had come out to our last show in late February. I was telling him about upgrading some of my stereo systems but my office projector sucked. He had taken in a 4000.00 dollar pro projector due to some warranty issue that doesn't effect operation. He gave it to me because he had to eat it. Plenty of time now to use it and very much appreciated!

Congrats! You won't be disappointed.
And for micing tips, this is an old article but still relevant showing how changing the mic placement can dramatically change the tone...

Thanks, Chloe!
Since the original post, the office has evolved. I now have a tech table where I do my guitar mod tinkering (string changes, pickup installations, soldering, etc.). Some guitars and amps have come & gone. I'll try to take some updated photos when I get a chance.

This site obviously needs a sticky "show me your studio/desk/rehearsal pad" thread. It was awesome to see all these.

Thanks, I'll try to take some updated photos today or even a video walkthrough. I've been offline re: YouTube demos for a few weeks due to COVID - which wasn't too bad and I've tested negative. Unfortunately, I got a nasty side effect of an extremely painful knee joint arthritic-like pain. Had to use a cane for a few days and after about a week and a half, I'm about 90% recovered.
I'm a gamer, too. Currently obsessed with Baldur's Gate III - running through my 3rd playthrough and will likely do one more before moving on to something else.

Surfysonic, with all the respect, you're talking to robots.
Amazing setup BTW, the blueburst Gretsch is stunning!

LOL that explains their 1st post. I responded to this before my morning cup of coffee.
Thanks about the G6120BS - it's my first pro series Gretsch. I sometimes gigged with it in my old surf/punk band some years back.

Ha Ha, I knew it was suspicious. Especially when she started talking about office space. Soon there will be AI surf guitarist. Then we'll be outdated... again.
