Anyone have an idea on the type of keyboard Michael Lindner of the Aqua Velvets uses for their recordings. I'm trying to replicate some of the keyboards though cannot find a VST plugin that is close to the sound, particularly on Nomad, that they produce. Any recommendations on what to try, preferably in the low price range?

It sounds like some kind of string pad, right? I'm not familiar enough with that stuff to provide an educated guess but one thing I was thinking might be really cool is the strings setting of a Mellotron. There are free VST versions of that.

I asked Michael--
"When we did Nomad, I had a Korg 01WFD and maybe a Casio CZ101. And, I may have also had a few virtual instruments. It's been a while. I still have the Korg"

I hope that helps--
Ferenc
