Sad news, indeed. I liked the earlier Van Halen stuff, and though I wasn't a fan of later material, it was always clear EVH was a really talented guitar player.

Sad news. Eddie was obviously a massive talent. I was not a fan of the band's music, but Eddie was one of a handful of guitarists who revolutionized the instrument. RIP, Eddie.

I was a big fun of Eddie and the band in the end of 80th and till the Balance album. Big influence for me. Thank you for the Music, Eddie.
