Last weekend, The Glasgow Tiki Shakers performed at my company's summer picnic at the Newport Dunes resort in Newport Beach, CA. They were a perfect addition to the festivities...from their matching outfits to the the excellent tone, tune selection, volume control and overall professionalism.
I had many people come up to me yesterday and tell me how much they enjoyed this band and this type of music. It was like a re-discovery for many of them. We are an architectural firm that designs hotels, resorts, spas and casinos. We have design professionals from all over the world and many of these people had not been exposed first-hand to this musical genre.
Many thanks to Bill, Joyce and Bruce!
(I was so happy to finally witness Bruce performing the "no hands" double bass drum solo when they played Wipeout near the end of their show!)

I am a fan too. I am still waiting for the Wednesday at the Baja Cantina when Bill takes his turn to drive back to their home so we can have some nice potent drinks with Joyce for a change. Been a long fan of GTS. This band has good control of their music.
LONGBOARDS !!, how are all of you. When are you guys coming back. All is cool, we already miss you guys. Come back to Los Angeles soon.
