bigtikidude
how do you pronounce Wannes???
joking, I know now....
but for along time I thought it was like Waynes.
Jeff(bigtikidude)
Well I do seem to live in my own world
actually Brian pronounced it sort of wrong there in podcast
in would be simply "one" "us" , stress the one, not the us.(as in "1" and the we-deriviate) ... if you want the Dutch pronounciation, say exactly the same thing BUT , while pronouncing the W, lay the tip of your tongue against the backside of your lower front teeth. (the result being a less full, higher pitched W) - not a common souhd in english.
Now you know everything you always wanted tp know about pronouncing my name

Sorry Wannes. I asked you over TS once how to pronounce your name and I must have forgotten the subtleties.

Oh well, Bwian, you know me, so you'll have a pretty good idea how incredibly upset I am!

The podcast sounds great; the interview segments were quite interesting and relevant. I particularly enjoy listening to the odcast while I work at the computer.

hey brian, you could get a phone coupler. They go for super cheap and that way you could do phone interviews for future episodes.

I've got it downloading it from i-Tunes right now. I'm on dial-up, so it'll probably take an hour or two. I'm sure it will be worth it, though. From the feedback I've read, it sounds like a great show. I'll take my iPod to work tonight and listen to it during my breaks.

Wow. Here I am just now finding this this podcast after a mention by someone in another thread. O.K., so maybe I'm not the sharpest uh.. piece of glass on the beach..(or something), but I know what I like.
This is a HUGE service you are doing to promote newer (and older) surf music to folks like me that have some catching up to do.
You do an outstanding job! Please keep it up. I really enjoyed the interview with Danny as well--so interesting, and the Tomorrowmen are great!
Can't wait for the next installment.

There's a lot of cool dudes you could interview. Many are even members of this forum. But interviewing Dick Dale would rock.
