Yes, many "drawings" of that exist. There is a previous discussion here.
It's actually simpler than most people try to make it and a diagram like the one below (schematically) may be closer than some you've found and looks like the functionality of normj's DD Strat in the thread referenced above. (The volume pot is a 250K audio.)

Nothing fancy, just bypasses the 3-way to make neck/middle - or not.

The DD and Jim Messina middle + neck sound requires a non-RWRP middle pickup. Positions 2 and 4 with a RWRP middle pickup cancel more than just hum.

"non-RWRP" pickup, aka normal Strat pickup.

Considering nowadays most Strat pickup sets have a RWRP middle pickup (including some marketed as "vintage" and "authentic"), I'd prefer the term "original" over "normal".
