I've learned "Ali Baba", "Casbah" and "Exotic" (and then realized they were all basically the same notes). Surf (at least the traditional, classic "first wave" stuff I listen to and play) is kinda like bluegrass, I guess...you learn one song (or lick, passage, turnaround, solo, etc.) and you've basically learned about 35 others. Going back through some Fireballs stuff, just fun listening. Homework (besides the Arabic course weeknights) is refining some things with the right hand on the Strat in terms of muting and running the vibrato bar.
